From strategic vision through design/development, launch and success metrics - I believe the seasoned UX pro has deliverables, responsibilities, and KPIs to offer throughout the life of the product/campaign.
As a manager, I encourage my team to look beyond the immediate "ask" and consider
how their work affects the experience of their customer, the relationship of their team and other teams, and other products in our suite.
